Covid-199
Panic swept America when, on March 16th the Imperial College’s COVID-19 model projected that 2.2 million people could die. “15 Days to Slow the Spread” was enacted. It is now known that this model was shockingly inaccurate, as were the IHME models that followed.
So what about this virus, anyway. CDC has now fully backtracked to declare the project a .25% fatality rate of infected people, which means that you have a 99.75% chance of NOT dying if you get it. What do the numbers tell us? Why is this virus still considered so acutely dangerous? Is it really? Make up your own mind.
